Transit Oriented Development
BHC Architects has played a leading role in shaping transit-oriented development across Long Island and the Mid-Atlantic, working directly with municipalities to establish TOD zoning frameworks and delivering projects at both the district and building scale.
Our work includes village-wide rezoning efforts in communities such as Westbury, as well as downtown TOD districts in Copiague and Lindenhurst. We have led planning for large-scale, multi-phased TOD sites and completed individual buildings within adopted TOD zoning districts, navigating complex regulatory, infrastructure, and stakeholder conditions.
